Thai National Museum
The Thai National Museum is located just off the north western edge of Sanam Luang not far from the Chao Phraya river. It is a large museum with many exhibits, ideally located and organised for any visitor who wants to learn the rich history of Thailand. The first exhibit is the Gallery of Thai History, but further exhibitions include art from all over the kingdom, including Lanna, Dvaravati, Srivijava, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, and more. Other key artifacts include Buddhist religious articles, musical instruments and Royal funeral chariots. The museum is of course located between Wat Mahathat and the National Theatre
