Thailand is a Buddhist country, so unsurprisingly there are plenty of impressive Buddhist temples that are well worth visiting. The most famous of which is the famous home of the emerald Buddha Wat Phrae Kaew. Not far from there is the massive reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. Just over the river is the spectacular Wat Arun. Enjoy the view from the top of the Golden Mount, which is also a temple.
