The town of Chiang Mai, known as athe Rose of the Northa , is the setting for a gem of Asian hospitality. Designed by Mr. Ong-ard Satrabhundu and Mr. Rooj Changtrakul - two of Thailanda s top architects and designers - the Rachamankhaa s architecture takes inspiration from Wat Phratat Lampang Luang, north Thailanda s finest extant Lanna period temple. The hotel guestrooms border two beautiful inner courtyards, guarded by Ming Dynasty lions and planted with beautiful and aromatic plumeria trees and decorative betel nut palms. The centrepiece between the two guestroom courtyards is the Lobby, an elegant 400-year-old timber structure, a masterpiece of the Lanna period: a wonderful private space for guests.
