Waroros Market

Waroros Market, the centre of Thai shopping in Chiang Mai. It is a massive disorienting complex of stalls where you can find just about anything. On the bank of the river Ping, but extending towards the moat, the complext includes China Town. While you can buy virtually anything there, it is particularly famous for flowers, and also cloth. There are also plenty of gold stores. While Night Bazaar caters for the tourist market, this market is trully a Thai phenomenon well worth a visit.
