Chiang Mai International Airport is located close to the center of the city allowing easy access. There are regular flights to Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, the main access to the rest of the world. The airport also offers some direct international flights to destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Luang Prabang and more. The airport also acts as a transfer point for smaller flights to Mae Hong Son and more.
