The Royal Golf course, Hua Hin, is Thailand's oldest golf course, built by a Scottish railway engineer and was opened in 1924. The course is literally in the centre of town, located directly behind the train station. Virtually all the holes on the course are treelined, often with tight fairways and a few bunkers, however there is little water to worry about, making it ideal for a relaxed weekend golfer.
