Thanarat Army Golf Course
The Thanarat Army Golf Course is located just south of Hua Hin, within the Thanarat Army Base. I last played at Thanarat several years back, but I remember it being a very good value course (i.e. cheap), and certainly in playable condition. There were several challenging holes, particularly memorable being the par 5 seventh hole with a downhill island green - possibly memorable as I scored well on it! The course is ideal for budget golfers, or beginners who feel intimidated by the more deluxe courses located around Hua Hin.
