Khao Takiab
At the far southern end of Hua Hin beach is Khao Takiab, literally chopstick hill, but known locally as monkey mountain - for the obvious reason that it is covered in monkeys. The hill offers great views along both Hua Hin beach and Khao Takiab beach.
As well as it's views and monkeys, Khao Takiab is also famous for its food, particularly the sea food restaurants around its base. Approaching the hill from Hua Hin beach you will see the 20m tall Buddha statue, and there are many other religious statues and sites on the mountain.
The architecture of Klai Kangwon is in Spanish style, and the palace also features beautiful gardens and a large selection of art.
