Maruekatayawan Palace
The Maruekatayawan Palace was built in 1924 as designed by King Rama VI. Located on Hua Hin beach, Maruekatayawan Palace was the ideal place for the late monarch to relax. Now the palace is a popular tourist attraction featuring teak wood pavilions facing out to the sea.
The palace is also known as the palace of love and hope, and is billed as the longest teak wood house in the world, due to its long terraces heading down to the beach. There are several meeting rooms as well as the sitting rooms in which the monarch would relax. While staying in Hua Hin, the palace is definitely worth a visit.
