Sukhothai Airport

Sukhothai Airport is located some way north of the new town, and the ancient city. It's a small local airport which offers transfers to Bangkok and to Lampang offered by Bangkok Airlines. There is also a regular daily connection to Chiang Mai. Once arriving at the airport you'll need to take a taxi or Songthaew down to the main attractions, but for those travelling with limited time, the airport offers a valuable connection to the rest of Thailand.
