Sukhothai Bus Station

One of the commonest ways of arriving in Sukhothai is by bus, with a convenient bus station located on the bypass, just a short distance from the main new town - not far from the ancient city. There are regular buses running in all directions, and it is easy to get to Chiang Mai in the north, to Bangkok, Mochit bus station, and closer to Tak, Phitsanulok and Mae Sot. It is a short taxi ride from Sukhothai bus station to any of the hotels in the city, or to the sites of the ancient city.
