Getting to Sukhothai

Sukhothai can be accessed via several means. Firstly there is an airport to the north of the town centre which offers regular connections to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Lampang. While this is a popular way to get to Sukhothai, it is a small airport, located outside the town so there are limited connections. Another popular alternative is the convenient bus station, located on the bypass road just minutes from the town centre. Sukhothai is also connected to the road network via the main highway in Tak.
